Music Ministry
As choir member, cantor or instrumentalist this ministry enhances the congregations’ experience of worship through song. Liturgies are enhanced by a variety of styles in sacred music, so the parish seeks to employ different groups representing different styles. Music ministers attend regularly scheduled practices, usually once a week.
The Adult Choir participates only on Sunday at OLF.
The Folk Group with guitar accompaniment rotates through both churches on Saturdays and Sundays.
Each group participates at a liturgy about three times a month but less frequently during the summer.
Each group attends an annual day of prayer, reflection and a community meeting. The day is usually 2-21/2 hours.
