Christian Formation Committee

This committee supports the mission of faith formation: To form, as well as inform, all members of the parish community concerning the Good News of Jesus Christ, and as missionary disciples to put their faith into action.

The committee is responsible for planning and coordinating a comprehensive program that meets the formation needs for adults, youth, and children, taking into account that all parish activities are dependent on the four dimensions of formation, the human, the intellectual, the pastoral and the spiritual.

The committee specifically oversees the sacramental preparation of children, the RCIA program and the selection and training of catechists.

Members of the committee are chosen by the Religious Education Coordinator to represent the broadest possible range of parishioner needs and interests.  Contact our Coordinator of Religious Education, Teresa Jackson, at reled@olfic.org or phone 526-4484.
